The 4 of us at one stage or another had a lot of ideas on mind but couldn’t implement it for many different reasons including financials, resources, lack of experience and knowledge. We are also aware and believe that this is the case for almost all young entrepreneurs when it comes to implementing their ideas. Therefore we promise to take your ideas hand-by-hand all the way towards success.

We were doing the designs for the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW)

That task came out of the sudden, and we had to face it with our super powers; by collaborating with the organizers especially the QRCE Staff to deliver the impressive work, that people have seen in the newspapers, the venue, the GEW sessions and that they will keep seeing during the week between the 16th and the 22nd of November, in a very short time.

We worked on Nakhweh

Now, after 3 months of launching Nakhweh.com (Jordan’s first volunteer matching website), we have statistical information to share with you that show the performance of the website at its very early stages:

• We have a total of 15 registered organizations on the website that are benefiting from Nakhweh’s services.
• We reached the total of 954 users until the time of publishing this post.
• A total of 49 volunteering opportunities have been posted.
• A total of 856 volunteering applications have been submitted to the listed opportunities.

Stay tuned for the big move on the initiative as we are already working on a plan to move the whole thing to another level hoping to reach a beta version of it as we still consider what we have is not even an alpha.

The Nakhweh team launched the Arabic version of Jordan’s first volunteer matching website, nakhweh.com.

Visitors of the website will be able to browse the website in both languages (Arabic & English) by clicking on the language link at the top corner of the website pages.

This step comes as an introduction of a couple of services that will be added to the website to increase the interactivity between the involved organizations and the volunteers.

What's next, Google?

After Michael Jackson death, the media tools all over the world were busy, during the last 48 hours, emphasizing Google’s big move of announcing the Chrome OS.

According to Google; Chrome OS, which will run on an open source license, was a “natural extension” of its Chrome browser. The news comes just months before Microsoft launches the latest version of its operating system, called Windows 7.

Putting the core of the announcement aside, we though about what’s going to happen exactly with Eric Schmidt after taking the decision of entering the competition of the Operating Systems market. Shmedit is the chairman of Google, he is a member of the board of directors of Apple and he was a member of President Obama’s transition advisory board.

For a long time, Google and Apple were in very good terms and worked together to develop, mainly, the iPhone which has a lot of Google services. A while after Google announced the new operating system for the mobile phones (Android) which puts both companies in the position of direct competitors to each other. That sounded weird in a way or another while Schmidt is a key person in the management of both companies.

But what makes the more weird now is the decision that Schmidt has taken when Google introduced Chrome OS, because it basically moves the competition between Apple and Google to another level as both firms provide operating systems.

Probably sometime soon we will see the Chairman of Google announcing his farewell as a member of the Board of Directors of Apple.
